Book of the Month

It is so hard to continue Book Club with everyone so busy and away, but I loved having a new book to read each month. This past month my friend Carmen recommended a book called These Is My Words. It was sooooo good. It took a little bit to get into, but soon enough I couldn't put it down! It is the diary of a girl in the late 1800's who travels through the territories and her experiences and life. It was heart breaking, funny, romantic, gripping and just flat out a good read! I was sad it was over for several reasons. So now I need another good book, any suggestions? I thought about trying The World is Flat, or Life of Pi, again, but just am not too excited...
Past Reads: Enders Game, Twilight Series- of course, The Alchemist, The Joy Luck Club,

I am going to read that book it sounds good. Here are a few good ones that I have read lately. Many of them are young adult or children's books because you know me that is what I love..."Princess Academy" by Shannon Hale, "Bud, Not Buddy", "Emma Brown" (this one was an unfinished manuscript by Charlotte Bronte and some lady finished it), and "The Scarlet Pimpernel". Those are just a few but I will keep thinking and tell you more later.

I read that book, too--it is good. There's also a sequel to it that's also good. I need to get back into the swing of things since I moved away from my last book clubs--but other recommendations are Nefertiti and The Magic of Ordinary Days. Hmm, I've read a few others, but save your time. I also liked Labyrinth (like Da Vinci Code a little bit).
