13.1

"Remember that time when everyone was shouting my name, and I used my strength to rip my blouse" Nacho Libre

This is how I felt this week as I crossed the finish line at the Moab Canyonlands Half Marathon. The race was seriously hard, but I made a goal to run the entire 13.1 miles, and I did!! The best part is when you are close to the end there are two fence type barriers and people are standing on both sides and cheering you on and you feel so awesome and you just run your heart out to the finish, it's exciting!!

This was the most painful part of the race, trying to stretch afterwards... it killed!
Here we are on the bus about to be driven to the start of the race, not knowing what we were in for... but it was beautiful running weather and for the most part I was very excited and really enjoyed it. I finished in 2 hours and 45 minutes, I am not the fastest runner, but I did it!!

Hurray Linds! You looked awesome! I ran the St. george marathon a few years ago and I think it burned me out but looking at these pics makes me want to run again (no more than a half marathon though, marathons are crazy). WE TOTALLY NEED TO HANG OUT. I will check my schedule and let you know.
