Deliciousness

Every once in a while I try a recipe that is so delicious, and so easy, that I feel everyone and their dog needs to try it out. While I was in Utah my Mom made some apple dumplings that my Sister-in-law, Krista, introduced her to. By the end of the pan there were fights over who got the last bite!
The recipe sounds a little strange but turns out delicious!
2 cans Crescent rolls
2 Granny Apples, peeled and cut into 8 slices each
* roll crescent pieces around apple pieces and lay in 9x13 pan
2 sticks butter, melted
1 1/2 C. Sugar
1T Vanilla
* stir sugar into butter until just mixed, add vanilla. Pour mixture over rolls
Small can Mt. Dew, pour soda along the sides of the pan
Bake 350 for 40 minutes, remove from oven and sprinkle with cinnamon. Enjoy, its so delicious!!

I'm glad you posted this recipe! I was going to ask you for it. I'm not so glad I know it had 2 sticks of butter in it though....humm!

Thanks!

I can't wait to try this. I take both your recipe and restaurant suggestions very seriously, since you're a professional.

I am a little skeptical about the Mt. Dew, but I am willing to try it. I am so glad you got to go home and see your family...a little jealous as well.
