We had a great Thanksgiving. I was super excited about not working for a few days, and was a little bummed to have to work Thanksgiving Day, however it was just for a few hours and we helped all the Valero Volunteers as they got everything ready to serve 400 soldiers. It ended up being a really cool experience serving the troops and feeling very grateful for our country and for our soldiers. We had a SuPeR delicious dinner with some friends followed by yummy pie and fun games. I really wanted to follow the games with some midnight madness and the outlets, but I was talked out of it and was glad in the end because we decided to get a camera for Christmas. Down the road, when we have children and cooler things to take pictures of we want to get a real nice camera, but for now we just want to get a pocket camera that takes awesome pictures. Our camera now stinks bad, real bad. Our photos never turn out. So I am looking for suggestions on great little cameras that take really cool pictures and is somewhat easy to use. This weekend we finally painted our front room, restful and olivine (light green and darker green), and set up the tree and it looks great, but the pictures from out camera made it not look as great as it really is. I was sad.

Ben got an Olympus Stylus850 and it takes great pictures and video. It's even waterproof or so one of our workers told us who took his camera snorkeling and went down 8 feet with it. There may be a newer model but we still love this camera.
We really like ours, it's not the waterproof kind, but it runs entirely on a huge touchscreen... SONY DSC-T series....I like the 500 the best since it's video collection is HD and really easy. We've had ours for a year and haven't had a single problem or glitch. Takes really high res pics for a pocket size. It's like the size of a deck of cards. yea for Inkley's...
someday when I accidentally break my camera...hm hm...i am going to get a Canon. I don't know all the fancy letter numbers and letters that follow it, but it's a small pocket digital and it takes fantastic photos!
We have a Nikon coolpix. I think that it is easy to use and takes pretty good pictures. I really want a digital SLR like the Canon Rebel XT though. Someday when we aren't poor and in debt for school I guess.
