This week was exhausting, I can't remember the last time I was so worn out. It started Wednesday when I went to work at 6:00am and got home after 9:00 pm. I tried going to bed but I was too tired to sleep, my legs and feet ached and throbbed and kept me up till nearly 11:00! I then woke up at 2:30 feeling so nervous for the next day, and I tried going back to sleep but it wasn't working, my alarm was set to go off at 3:15 so I just got up and went back to work. The day was busy and stressful, with three big parties we served over 2500 meals, and had another fancy breakfast Friday morning. Thursday I ended up being there from 4:00-6:30. I was hungry, sweaty, sticky and had spilled coffee and beans on me. When I returned home I felt like an old, stinky, soggy rag.
I ate a sandwich, took an advil and took a nice hot shower. While I was standing in the shower all I could think about was my aching feet and how nice a bath would be. I am not a big bath taker. But I had just cleaned the tub, and I was all clean, so I plugged the tub, poured in the bubbles, and sat down to relax. My wonderful, loving husband came in to check on me and turned on some relaxing music, lit some candles, turned off the lights and brought me some cold water so I could just relax. It was heavenly! After my bath I gave my teeth the royal treatment- brush, floss AND mouthwash, I slipped into my satin pajamas, and crawled into bed. Kev came in and rubbed my back and feet. In just an hour I went from feeling like a nasty rag, to feeling like a Million Bucks. Oh the power of a Loving Husband and a Hot Bath!!

Yikes you are working hard! I am glad you have such a WONDERFUL husband!
Good land that was a good post. I almost feel like I just took a bath and relaxed as well...thank you, Lindsey for the wonderful literary tub you drew for us.
Linds- You rock! I really wish we were coming there so we could be best friends but we just haven't heard anything from San Antonio. Steve has an interview at the U the end of this month and we are still hoping to hear from Texas A&M (that's the only other place he has interviewed). We'll see I guess:)
