I just need to make note of some of the funny things Coop has been doing so that when I get around to making his memory book in a year or so I will remember these goofy little things.
Yesterday I was in the yard pulling weeds, I was using a mini chisel to dig them up and Coop wanted to play with the chisel so bad and he followed me around the yard reaching and whining for it. After I had said no enough he decided to go play with the rocks. A few minutes later he crawls up to me and shows me a rock and says ooooeeeehh? So I told him what a nice rock it was and this conversation went back and forth a few times. Then he crawls up to me and puts the rock on my chest so I grab it and say thank you, he then grabs my chisel because apparently we had just made a trade.
Cooper has been very good at sharing his things. On the airplane last week he kept trying to give people around us his cheese and spoons. Yesterday I gave him a fruit snack and he was starting to swallow it when Kev asked me for a fruit snack. Cooper watches me give Kev a fruit snack and he decides to share too. He coughs up his fruit snack and offers it to Kev, then to me, after we told him no thanks he decided to eat it, again.
We have been playing with the shapes blocks more and working on getting the right shapes in the right holes. Now he loves putting any toy in any hole or slot. He keeps choking the toy giraffe ball roller coaster toy with legos, binkeys, toy tools, lids and anything else he can fit in the giraffes mouth. I also keep finding DVDs and other items shoved into the VCR, sometimes its frustrating but mostly I think its funny to find all the hidden surprises!
