Conference Brunch

Every Conference sunday we get together between sessions and enjoy a delicious brunch. The menu items always change, a different breakfast casserole, sometimes crepes or french toast or waffle bar, some sort of salad etc. But there is one item that stays the same, Maple logs. Years ago they became a favorite and they are always the most anticipated brunch item. I think its funny that they are so stinkin good, but we only make them twice a year! I guess that is what makes them so special. So if you are craving a delicious little treat, try these out!

MAPLE LOGS
1 cup Brown Sugar
1/2 cup Chopped Walnuts (optional, but highly recommend them)
1/3 cup Maple Syrup
1/4 cup Melted Butter
*Combine all these ingredients and spread evenly on a 9x13 cookie sheet

8 oz. Cream Cheese, softened
1/3 cup Powdered Sugar
2 Tbsp. Butter, softened
*Blend these ingredients until mostly smooth

2 cans refigerator biscuits
*Pre-heat oven to 350, flatten each biscuit into about a 4 inch circle, fill with 1 Tbsp cream cheese mixture, fold over, pinch sides and place on pan. Bake for 25 minutes
ENJOY!!! and enjoy these cute pictures of Millie and Jack, I love my cute neices and nephews!

Congrats to you and Kev on graduation last weekend! I hope that you had fun celebrating. I saw graduates all weekend and thought of you. When do you go on your fun cruise?
