The Ultimate Vacation

The past two weeks have been great! I finished my job at Sundance, which is such a nice feeling, I deleted my 4:15 alarm and plan to never set it again! After work I went and hung out with Collynn and said Goodbye as they loaded the cars to move to Portland. Afterwards I went with my mom and sisters to the Thanksgiving Point Tulip Festival, it was so fun and relaxing!

Kevin and I are now officially done with school, here in Utah at least! Kev's family all came out for graduation and we had a great time celebrating and eating!

After graduation we went on a fantastic road trip and Cruise with our friends Joey & Kathryn and Brad & Carmen. We had a blast! We piled in a suburban and drove to Vegas, we spent the night walking the strip, eating pizza and watching movies. We then Drove to Irvine and went to the Cheesecake Factory and Pinkberry followed by Laguna Beach and hot tubbing. The next morning we boarded our cruise ship and headed for Cabo San Lucas! Our first day at sea we spent by the pool and got plenty of sun, a little too much in my case! Cabo was awesome we went on a sailing and snorkeling excursion, it was great! Kathryn emerged from snorkeling with 40 Jellyfish stings! Crazy! We also ported in Ensenada, and even though its not the most beautiful place we visited the Blowhole, or El Buffadora, and I thought it was the coolest! The tide comes in and enters in this little crevasse and suddenly and mysteriously the water shoots up like 60 feet, its so wild! We had a great time on the cruise eating, playing Wizard, watching Arrested Development, doing Karaoke and relaxing. After the cruise we decided to extend our vacation so we could go to Magic Mountain. We spent the weekend relaxing at Amy's and hot tubbing, watching movies and making delicious food. Monday we had the best day at Magic Mountain. The park was empty! We walked onto almost every ride! It was the best! I will never try to go to an amusement park in the summer again, it was so fun to get the most out of the day! We got home yesterday. We had a blast but after eleven days away it is nice to be home!!!

Looks absolutely fantastic --- oh am i envious and wish i was on a cruise right now ---- pretty much would give anything to get there! i wish we were able to do it before the kids come too -- cuz that is so nice not having any other priorities but yourselves! glad you made it home safe...i will call you soon!

Linds that looks like you guys had a blast. Like Steph said you are smart to do that before you have kids because as cute and fun as they are, they seriously restrict that kind of fun. Can't wait to hear more about it.

Happy Graduation! Hey, in answer to your post on my blog, I would love to be a part of a culinary reunion. Have you seen Cami's blog? She's started doing some amazing cakes.

Wow, that vacation looks awesome!! I'm so jealous. One day, I will go on a cruise...I'm determined. Anyhoo, yeah, that snow day up at work was quite an experience. Work is going well. It's kinda slow now, so not much hours, but starting in June, I'll be full time. So how are thing for you? Getting ready for the big move?
