Some friends had given us a two night getaway at the Invited Inn Bed & Breakfast up in Midway, so for my birthday we decided to cash in. Upon arrival we were a little nervous as to how awkward it would be, they were telling us to wear their slippers and just relax around the house, and they kept talking to us trying to get to know us... definitely different from the usual hotel visit. However, once we got settled and enjoyed some delicious hor' doerves and smoothies we really started to enjoy it. The room we were in was beautiful, the bed was really high up and had romantic little lamps and a canopy and the shower was a steam room and we loved that. We actually ended up feeling very comfortable lounging in their home reading and working on my resume. We had a great time in Midway as well. We went shopping up in Park City and out to some delicious restaurants. We went to the Crater at the homestead, which is a natural hot spring that has created a dome in the earth. Its like 65 feet deep and 90 degrees warm and was really fun to swim in but Kev thought it was a little creepy. It was a great little getaway and I would highly recommend Invited Inn to everyone, but if you don't have time for an overnight getaway I suggest taking a nice drive up to Heber and eat at the Spin Cafe on Main Street, the food was awesome, especially the fries and they have delicious gelato!
Here is Kev in the cozy bed and me in my cozy slippers!
For my birthday I bought some soft sheets and a bedset and I am way excited about them!!
