Busy Busy!

I can't believe it is the final week of October! Our good friend Lilo has been in town the past 10 days and we have had so much fun, but time sure flew.

We spent an afternoon in Fredricksburg and enjoyed delicious Mexican vanilla ice cream

We finished the trim and baseboards around the house, painted the rooms green, stained our beautiful headboard, and got new blinds and window trim for the windows (we are still in the process of painting the trim)

We also went to the river walk, which is so pretty at night and the temperature was perfect, we went to six flags and lasted two hours before we got too sick to last any longer, we had a great day in Austin watching football and eating prime rib with some friends, and overall had a great time hanging out- I just wish that work hadn't been so busy so I could have hung out some more.
Also we enjoyed paying $2.24 for gas, we even saw a place just outside San Antonio that had gas for $2.09, it is great, I hope it keeps dropping for our trip home!!
Although we have been having a lot of fun we haven't done any Halloween activities, I sure hope we find some time to carve pumpkins...

I can't believe gas is that cheap there. I was thinking my $2.59 was good yesterday. Are you driving home for Thanksgiving? I am glad you had fun with Lilo.

Sounds like fun. It looks like you are somehow finding time between you and Kev's busy schedule to fix up your house - good for you! Lots of days after I get home from work it's all I can do to just get dinner on the table.

Sounds like you've been having tons of fun! I love the window trim - the trim around our windows and door frames is probably my absolute favorite thing about my house. I think it adds so much!
