Re-Cap

This has been a great couple of weeks, super duper busy though. Kev had Spring Break the week before last and it was oh so glorious! We started off with a great day at the beach, we went down to Port Aransas with the some friends, it was beautiful! Kev had told me he heard it wasn't really a "beach", but mostly rocky grass patches by a dirty ocean. He was so wrong, it was the softest beach ever- which is why the ocean looked so dirty but we had a most excellent time!

It wouldn't be Spring Break without some Spring Cleaning! I cleaned the closets, the fridge and got all caught up in housework. And we tackled the yard and fence, Kev power washed one side and replaced the other side with the gate. I painted. It's not perfect but it is much much better.

Last weekend I went home to Utah for my Grandma's funeral. It was a beautiful funeral, all of my cousins got together and we sang a beautiful song. Elder Scott was able to come and give some wonderful words of wisdom and comfort. It was the best to be surrounded by family and I was so happy that I was able to go home. Here are a few photos of the fam, my brothers are getting so handsome and tall!!

I got back from Utah Tuesday night. Wednesday we had the priests and laurels over for a Iron Chef competition, it was fun, they did a great job. On Thursday our friend Scott and his fiance Mckenna came for a wedding and stayed at our house. We had so much fun with them, they are great! We went up to Austin and went to the capital and rented a pedal boat out on town lake. Austin is great I love LoVe LOVE that place!!

The picture at the top of the blog came from the beautiful river walk right here in down town San Antonio. I love the river walk when its not crowded. Just another reason for everyone to come visit here!
