Just over a week ago Kev and I reunited in San Francisco. We had a nice little weekend exploring San Francisco, we went to Pier 39 and had delicious clam chowder in a sourdough bread bowl, watched these gross Sea Lions for a while, got really cold, wandered around China Town, walked up and down some hills, took the ferry to Alcatraz and saw a ton of birds. We stayed in a real comfy hotel with a great view, but got an unwanted 7:00 a.m. wake up disturbance by some angry protesters yelling at us to "check out now!"
It was a fun little weekend, however I didn't fall in love with San Francisco.

Here are some of the pictures of Stanford Campus, it is the most beautiful campus I have been to, and huge. There are tons of beautiful courtyards and buildings and archways. It was really fun to wander around. I also got to meet one of the doctors that Kev has been able to work with and that was fun. He is having such a great time here! Palo Alto is much more beautiful than San Francisco. Much warmer and cleaner and lots of cute shops and streets.
I know some of you have been looking forward to seeing pictures of The Glass Slipper Inn, where we had been planning on living. It is famous for being to only castle shaped building on the street, but had a reputation for being quite cheap and seedy. Sadly my stay there only lasted for about two hours, long enough to take a nap and pack up. A wonderful family took us in and is letting us stay in the apartment above their garage. It is in Burlingame which is the cutest little town filled with cute little house, it is in between Palo Alto and San Francisco and I like it here just fine! This is the house we stay in.
We are having a great time here, but we miss our home in Texas. However we have had a great time seeing family and new places. Last weekend we visited Kev's grandparents in Merced and went to Yosemite National Park, it was gorgeous! We had a lot of fun. I will post those pics another time!

I am glad you are finally reunited with Kevin. What are you doing during the days while he works?
I love Palo Alto too. I think San Francisco is too cold, it always seems a little dreary to me.
what a cute little house that you get to stay in...at least above the garage. It is beautiful there!
So hapyy that you were able to reunite!
Such fun adventures! I'll be in Utah in less than a month. Can't wait to see you!
it sounds like you have been having fun. The house you live in is really cute. I have heard that Stanford is beautiful. Do you ever feel like Felicity will show up when you are walking around?:)
