Well after 9 weeks of traveling fun, we are back home. We had a lot of fun adventures this summer, we went to Hawaii, Kev did some research with some excellent doctors at Stanford, we went to Napa, Monterrey, Yosemite, Muir Woods, and San Francisco, and we visited family in Merced, Irvine, Las Vegas, Utah and Gilbert.
Here are some of my favorite times...

We went to the Fish Hopper in Monterrey, this place has the best clam chowder I have ever had, Kev and I came here years ago before we even dated and we had to come back, only this time I splurged and got the crab, shrimp and scallops... well worth the 3 hour drive. Driving all along the PCH wasn't too shabby either. Muir Woods is filled with these ginormous redwoods, sometimes I didn't realize how big they were so I had to hug a tree,

Or have Kev climb in one

San Francisco had its pretty parts, the Golden Gate Bridge was pretty cool, however I didn't enjoy all the tolls we had to pay every time we crossed a bridge.

Yosemite was gorgeous, so many huge waterfalls and cool hikes. Kev and I both love hiking on huge rock formations so we had a great day.
My sister and I ran the Freedom Run 10k and it was fun, I hadn't been feeling well and felt so out of shape, but I am glad she pushed me to do it because we felt great after! After the race we had a delicious brunch and watched the Coney Island Hot Dog Eating Contest, then had a great BBQ dinner with Kev's family.
It was a great summer, but there is no place like home, lying in bed thinking about all the fun house projects we can work on...
