Yesterday was the Valero Family Day at Six Flags. I was happy to have my little brother in town so he and Kev could ride all the roller coasters. Being 5 months pregnant I only went on the swings and the log ride. We all had the best time, while they were on the roller coasters I helped myself to the free cotton candy, fried mushrooms, dip and dots, french fries, funnel cakes, pretzels, popcorn, Popsicles and drinks. I am surprised I was able to walk out of the park! One of the great things they did this year was run a special for season passes for only $25, I was so excited, we will be back many more times!

And I would like to give a little shout out to my Nike Deschutz... A few of you may remember these shoes, I got them 16 years ago when I was in 6th grade and they are still going strong. There is a little rough spot on the tip of the right shoe where they melted a little at PHASE camp and I once took them into the shoe maker to fix the back straps, other than that they are still sturdy and very comfortable for a fun filled and wet day at Fiesta Texas! And surprisingly they don't smell too bad :)

Hooray for a season pass. I am totally laughing right now about your shoes. I can't believe you still have those and wear them...love it.
That is one impressive pair of shoes! And I'm totally jealous of all the tasty amusement park food you got to enjoy at no charge!
I remember those shoes. Glad they're still tickin. Remember your double souled tennies.Wish you were still sportin those. I can't wait to visit you and love on your baby. Feed him a little better from now on though. Wonder if you had heartburn.
