The Fastest Thing...

This weekend I decided to do a little bedroom makeover. I have been wanting to do something to our room for two years but didn't know what to do so I decided to start with new curtains and bed cover with pillows. I knew in my head what I wanted but couldn't find the right stuff so I headed to the fabric store. I haven't sewed in a while and have never been very good, and Saturday evening I was ready to throw the machine through the window.
Years a go a friend told me a joke about the fastest thing. Because of its potty nature I won't post the joke but if you see me I will tell it to you because it's so funny eight years later I am still laughing! Anyways in the joke people are saying what the believe is the fastest thing, thoughts, lights, blinking etc. Well I have discovered the fastest thing... Sewing machine thread! I don't understand how in two seconds of sewing half a spool of thread can be knotted and tangled on the underside of the fabric. It was so frustrating!! But I persisted and ended up with these

I also got around to decorating some letters for Cooper that I have had for over six months and hanging a wire display that I have had for years. It feels good to get things done that I have been putting aside for so long.

And here are some pics of my little cutie he is so fun right now!

Good work on the sewing, Linds! And I love Coopers big old belly. He looks like such a happy boy!

Steph, we didn't paint the car on the wall it is actually just a rug we got at ikea. Kate, we put a ball in his belly so that he will learn to crawl instead of scoot, and then we ended up just laughing at him :)
