Coopers First Birthday! I am struggling with Blogger right now and so this post begins with a ton of pictures for our families sake, and then the story of the day is at the end...

Yesterday my little baby turned one! This year has flown by despite the days that seemed to never end. Cooper turned one weighing in at 22lbs and 12oz and standing 29 3/4 inches tall, remaining in the 50th percentile in both categories. The night before his birthday he had a rough night and ended up sleeping in our bed, even a king sized bed isn't big enough for the 3 of us, our little man is a bed hog! We all woke up early and I started getting ready for the party. We were having a Toy Story party with some of his playgroup friends and I made a Mr. Potato Head pinata and a giant puzzle of Woody. I hid the puzzle pieces around the yard and scattered toys all over. I told the kids that I didn't have time to pick up all the toys and so we needed to round up all the puzzle pieces, after they found all the pieces we put the puzzle together and then played pin the badge on the sheriff. After lunch we did the pinata. Home made pinatas are really hard to break open. As I was lowering the pinata so Cooper could push it around the string broke and the pinata fell and cracked which ended up helping the kids quite a bit, otherwise the pinata game could have lasted all afternoon! The party was fun, I had lots of fun getting everything together even though Cooper won't remember it.
When Kev got home we gave Coop his little Cozy Coup and took him for a walk. He loves this car and it is so fun to see him excited over it. After dinner we played in balloons and had more cupcakes. It was a long day for all of us and by the end of the fun we were ready for bed, especially him! Thanks to little Coop its been the best year yet!
Here are some of the fun things he does now.He is a climber and climbs all over the chairs, couches, and me. He says hi and mama and sometimes dada. His favorite foods are string cheese and mandarin oranges. He is starting to throw tantrums and makes a cute grouchy puckered face when I say no. He still loves all cars and now uses them as phones. He loves other kids and especially the kid in the mirror. He is developing some new dance moves and shows them off all the time, even in the car. Everyday is fun with him, he has the best laugh and always can cheer me up, especially when he puts his cute little face right in front of mine, says hi and laughs. We love our little boy!!
