With all the house projects I have slacked on the little projects. A friend of mine wanted to make some growing sticks around Christmas time. I bought half the stuff but put off getting the board and actually doing it. Well I FiNalLy got around to it and it looks great in Coops room.
I actually used an extra scrap of base board that we had in the garage and I painted it the back of it black, then painted the sloping side white and with a Sharpie wrote all the inches along the side. Then I put a car at every foot marker (I made this thing 6 feet tall so we can measure Coop all through High School). After the cars were on I painted white lines on it. I thought it would be tricky to hand since the back of it was not flat but had curves, but I got the Command Brand Damage Free Hanging Reclosable Adhesive Strips and it hung up no problem and no holes!
When Cooper sits he is 1 1/2 feet tall :)
