It has been an eventful couple of weeks, and I feel like I never take enough picture so I am forgetting it already. First up I turned 30. Kevin and I went to a super delicious restaurant called Dough. It was amazing! Pizza even better than my favorite Provo spot Terra Mia. If it wasn't so pricy we would go once a month. After an incredible dinner and some super delicious frozen yogurt Kev surprised me with an iPad, now I can live my thirties trying to be organized and compact. After the Birthday celebrations we flew out to Utah for my sister Kate's wedding. I am mad at myself a little because I was so busy working on the cake and getting things organized for the wedding set up that I didn't take a single picture! I am hoping that the photographer took tons of adorable pictures of Cooper and his studly little suit and red tie, and all the cute things he did through out the reception, but I am guessing she focused more on Kate and Jed...
The wedding day turned out gorgeous. Kate wanted to have a picnic feel at the reception. We were going to do it in the beautiful backyard of a family friend and J-dogs was catering. We had bottled root beers and lots of burlap, the only problem was that it rained everyday for a week before the wedding. Thankfully the sun came out for Saturday only and the day was so pretty! Perfect weather, perfect food, perfect couple.
After we got home from the wedding I took Cooper to the Doctor. At 16 months he weighed in at 23 lbs 7oz and is 31 3/4 inches tall. Still hanging in the 50th percentile. He is so fun right now as he is learning new words and doing more things. He now says car, tren (train), bayba (baby), uh-oh, hi (as he is waving to everyone), Mama-Mama, yum yum yum, dad, no, and makes animal sounds like a monkey, a dog and sometimes a cow and he loves to make car and motorcycle noises. This weekend he had an ear infection and his fang teeth are coming in so he has been grouchy this week but still has his fun moments. He loves riding to the mailbox in his car with Kev. His favorite food right now is probably popcorn but he also loves random foods like olives and salt and pepper chips. He is starting to throw more tantrums which is lots of fun :) but they aren't too bad yet. He still makes us laugh everyday and we love love love this crazy kid!

I love the cake it is so pretty and I am sure it tasted delicious. Are you going to be in Utah any other times this summer? We need to plan trips at the same time so I can see you.

Lindsey! That cake is incredible. seriously, it is amazing! how long did it take you? Kate looks so pretty in her dress, I hope I get to see a pic of Cooper in his suit.
I guess im a big loser that its taken me this long to check out the cake......but its FREAKIN AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Youre so awesome.
