After lasts weeks purchase and disappointment of the Pumpkin Hershey Kisses I have been trying to figure out a way to make them better. I thought about chocolate covered popcorn and figured I could just melt down the kisses and drizzle it over the popcorn, which is just what I did, and it turned out pretty good... but I still didn't love the pumpkin flavor.
I then created my own pumpkin chocolate recipe and was super happy with how it turned out- it is more pumpkin spicy than sweet sugary pumpkin and it went great with the salty popcorn... And it is easier to make than searching for the pumpkin kisses.

PUMPKIN CHOCOLATE:
16 oz. White Chocolate Discs
1/2 Cup Canned Pumpkin
1 tsp Cinnamon
1/2 tsp Pumpkin Spice
1 cup unpopped popcorn kernels
In my popper I popped two batches of popcorn and salted it.
In a double boiler melt chocolate, Or melt chocolate in a glass bowl over a pot of boiling water.
Stir in pumpkin and spices.
This was plenty of chocolate to cover two batches of popcorn, 1/2 cup popcorn kernels in each batch. Fill a large bowl with popcorn a little over half way, Pour a little bit of chocolate over Popcorn, cover bowl with plate or pan and shake till popcorn is covered. Chocolate goes a long way on popcorn. Spread out on Cookie Sheet and let it set up for a couple hours for best result.
The only downer to the chocolate is that it doesn't harden up as quickly or as firmly as regular chocolate. I actually let the popcorn sit out overnight and it was so delicious in the morning!
This chocolate could also be used for caramel apples, or on pretzels or on anything else you want really, its yummy!
Today was our Relief Society Super Saturday and I made these cute little outfits for our little baby. It was very fun!

They turned out darling.
I love your cute little outfits! You are so crafty! :) I found the pumkin spice kisses at Target too - and don't love them as much as I thought I would either. They are good, but not to die for. Thanks for sharing all of your pumkin treats!
I love that little monster onesie. Sooo cute.
