June Happenings

First Trimester + Kevin working trauma = Messy house, lots of TV and pajamas all day everyday.
When I think back on June I just remember feeling so gross and tired. Watching lots of kids TV and laying on the couch. However when I look back at pictures we had a pretty fun month. I did try to get out once or twice a week for some fun for the kids.
Cooper started in swim lessons and for the most part loves it but he does not like putting his eyes in the water.
My brother Spencer and his fiancé Celina were moving all of Celina's stuff from Florida to Utah and they stopped in San Antonio for a visit and a day at Sea World I was so excited to meet Celina, they are a good match I think.
Mags and Coop loved the splash pad. It was so hot that day!

We went with some friends to the Witte Museum. They had a fun dinosaur exhibit and we explored. It was a little rainy and a lot crowded but it was fun to be out with friends.
Free kids movies started for the summer and we have had fun seeing The Lorax and Despicable Me with friends. We also went with a big group to see a play at a children's theater. We saw treasure Island, Cooper is still a little young to enjoy it but it was fun.
One of the highlights this month was going to the hospital and getting a tour of the helicopter. Cooper is a bit obsessed with helicopters and it was cool to go up and check it out. They got to go inside and then the flight team had to take of for a real rescue so we got to watch it take off from the lower parking lot. We were with our friends the Mennear's and afterwards they introduced us to a delicious Honduran restaurant in a sketchy part of town.
For Father's Day we got to visit Kev at the hospital. Of course right as we got there they got busy but Kev was able to step out to see us for a few minutes. These kids adore their day, especially Cooper.

Congrats Linds!!! So exciting that #3 is on the way. Looks like you're having a fun summer even with the joys of first trimesters! You have a cute family. :)
